Introduction to Agility Level 1- introduces your dog to jumps, tunnels, weave poles & more with emphasis on dog safety & handler execution.
This class will have a strong focus on developing handler focus, strengthening the handler to dog bond and introducing new handler body language as it relates to the dogs path during course navigation. We will end the class with a fun run of a short sequence to test your team skills. Successful graduates of this class will have the ability to enroll in a next level agility course that focuses on fun or move to a more advanced agility class.

Level 2 agility will work on contacts, increase skills with obstacles, work on path pressure and the dog’s path, and introduce crosses.

Prerequisite-Puppy Paws Academy or Bark to Basics
This class will build skills using structured handling and focus building exercises - teams will learn clear communication, directional cues, and confident off leash engagement. Using tunnels, cones, wings, barrels, and more dogs, build body awareness and responsiveness and handlers learn how their movement and cues shape the dogs path. This class is six weeks and they will be prepared to move onto pre-novice agility.

Agility for dummies is designed for new handlers and beginner dogs with some agility foundations experience. Do you ever feel uncoordinated or out of step when trying to handle your dog? This workshop will help you refine your dance steps as a handler by practicing with a trained demo Dog first, so you can focus entirely on your movement and cues, then transfer those skills to your own Dog for clearer communication and smoother runs.

Agility and sports foundations for puppies, introduces safe, age-appropriate exercise exercises for puppies as young as 12 weeks who may have a future in performance sports periods through confidence building games, body awareness at work and engagement skills, puppies begin developing the physical and mental foundations needed for agility, obedience, rally and more. All activities prioritize safe development, positive reinforcement, and long-term soundness.

Let’s play agility as a fun, low pressure, introduction designed for adult dogs, and their humans who are curious about the sport. In this workshop, you’ll explore basic agility skills, simple, obstacles, and confidence building games using positive reinforcement. It’s the perfect way to see if agility is the right sport for your dog.

Rodeo Dog is offered as a three week class and as a Saturday scrimmage.
You will learn how to negotiate a rodeo dog course with your dog. We will break it down starting as one barrel and progress. Multiple levels are available so the fun doesn’t stop with Rodeo Dog!
